Job Position: Mobile App Developer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. A mobile developer is responsible for developing applications for devices across all mobile operating system.
  2. Due to the fragmentation of this ecosystem, an Android developer must pay special attention to the application’s compatibility with different mobile operating systems and devices.
  3. They must also have a strong understanding of the patterns and practices that revolve around cross platform mobile development.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
  2. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
  3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  4. Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
  5. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  6. Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  3. Should be able to communicate fluently in simple and clear English
  4. Experience working with finance and payment related workflow services is a must
  5. Experience working in an Agile delivery environment is plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  1. Strong and in-depth knowledge of Flutter Framework
  2. Familiarity with Ionic framework
  3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  4. Strong knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  5. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  6. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
  7. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, and fingerprint scanners
  8. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  9. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  10. A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  11. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Azure DevOps and Git
  12. Understanding of Agile software development methodology.
