Job Position: Website and Mobile App Developer and Programmer

Job Location: Abuja

Job Responsibilities
Website Design & Build:

  • Plans, creates, and codes internet sites and web pages, combining text with sounds, pictures, graphics, and video clips in line with established design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
  • Creates website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
  • Develop site content, interface design, and architecture of websites that focus on our need.

Coding:

  • Writes/reads well-designed, testable efficient, custom code; updates using best software development practices; develops custom database-driven websites.
  • Develops code that maximizes readability, scalability, maintainability, and modularity/reusability.

Software Documentation:

  • Creates and maintains software documentation.

Search Engine Optimization:

  • Ensure that contents are appropriately titled and tagged for search optimization.

Website Design Testing and Debugging:

  1. Tests websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors
  2. Debugs errors, troubleshoots issues, and performs routine performance optimizations.
  3. Executes testing routines and identifies tests and debugs web application issues across multiple browsers.

User Experience Management:

  1. Tests UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
  2. Translates UI/UX or visual ideas into prototypes, establishing outstanding interactions from designs; constructs reusable content modules ensuring code maintainability.
  3. Analyses user feedback and activity and iterate to enhance user experience

Website Quality Management & Maintenance:

  1. Ensures all websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones; maintaining the appearance of websites and applying content standards.
  2. Maintains and conducts regular site reviews to ensure proper functionality including scalability, maximum speed, and the best user experience.
  3. Responsive WordPress Design

  15. Optimizing website structure and content for search engines (SEO) and/or the use of paid online advertising (SEM) are two ways a digital marketer helps to drive relevant traffic to their website.
  16. Collaborating work with back-end engineers on integrating back-end logic with mobile applications.
  17. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  18. Anticipate problems and future technical needs and take necessary corrective steps to ensure they are addressed.
  19. Any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Job Requirements

  1. HTML and CSS.
  2. Experience with design software (e.g., Photoshop).
  3. The ideal candidate will have strong mobile app experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to build great features.
  4. The successful candidate should have demonstrable commercial experience in a relevant Development role and should be confident with an array of technical skills such as; Experience with different architectural patterns in iOS & Android; Build iOS & Android applications from scratch
  5. Experience in Unity; Deliver agreed commitments to the stated quality, timescales and cost; Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs; Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatization
  6. Content management (CMS) experience
  7. Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  8. Develop and maintain high-quality code for complex applications.
  9. Good visual design sense.
  10. Great customer service experience.
  11. Professional, detail orientated and client-focused
  12. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  13. Proactive and professional individuals who maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  14. Highly clean and responsive
  15. Team working experience
  16. SEO Optimized
  17. Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop friendly
  18. Easy to manage
  19. Video editing experience is an added advantage
  20. Ability to play one or more musical instrument effectively is an added advantage

  22. You must be teachable and able to follow up on instruction, work independently with little or no supervision
