Job Position: NodeJS Developer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. This is a full-time on-site role for a NodeJS Developer located in Lagos.
  2. The NodeJS Developer is responsible for creating server-side web application logic in Node.js, designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications, and integrating front-end elements into the application.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
  2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ECMAScript 2015 and above), Node.js, and Express.js
  3. Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Web Sockets
  4. Understanding of Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Cloud Computing
  5. Experience with Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  6. Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
  7. Knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git) and Agile methodologies
  8. Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, and work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
  9. Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers is a plus
  10. Experience with Typescript and Front-End frameworks such as React.js, Angular.js, or Vue.js is a plus.
