9mobile is a Nigerian private limited liability company. EMTS acquired a Unified Access Service License from the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2007. The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.

Job Location: Abuja

Job Description

  1. Management of network OSS tools.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Strong domain knowledge in OSS Platforms and Applications with hands-on experience in supporting and managing OSS Applications and Tools
  2. Ensure availability of all OSS tools
  3. Handle OSS upgrades and patch installations
  4. Handle integration and commissioning of NOC OSS/monitoring solutions
  5. Troubleshooting and resolution of faults on OSS application and tool.
  6. Hardware and Software audit of all OSS tools.
  7. Implementation of OSS tool periodic health checks and maintenance activities.
  8. Administration of OSS tool user accounts
  9. Administration of Huawei OWS, WFM ,Mateline
  10. Administration of NOC OSS/monitoring solutions including U2020
  11. CEM and Discovery tool maintenance
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head, NOC & BSS.

Job Requirements

  1. First Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant discipline
  2. Three (3) to five (5) years post NYSC work experience
  3. Multi-vendor solution experience

Knowledge:

  1. System Administration of Linux/VMware   environment.
  2. Experience in OS like Linux, Windows
  3. Shell scripting + SQL scripting, Unix shell + some windows-based programming will be an added advantage.
  4. Knowledge of IP/Routers/Switches etc.
  5. Experience in RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, Sybase etc.
  6. Basic understanding of Telecom Network
  7. Basic understanding of IP Network
  8. Experience with trouble ticket tools and process
