Job Position: People Cost Planning Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  1. Develop, introduce and maintain market-competitive, efficient and cost-effective compensation strategies and policies for Nigeria.
  2. Ensure policies are in line with corporate guidelines and Functions’ specifics; Plans, evaluates and recommends employee compensation programs, such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives and job evaluations.
  3. Support employees’ motivation and engagement improvement activities as part of the total reward scheme.
  4. People cost budgeting, controlling and reporting (monthly and annual); supports incentives schemes

Job Responsibilities

  1. Analyse, develop and recommend compensation elements for Nigeria, in line with market trends, corporate guidelines and policies.
  2. Maintain the company’s total compensation package as competitive in the market according to guidelines
  3. Evaluate job grades and maintain salary range tables as a result of position evaluation activities.
  4. Recommend, develop and analyse the efficiency of variable reward systems across the Supply chain function.
  5. Coordinate the Business Planning process and link with respect to rewards and related engagement topics.
  6. Prepare and ensure validation of the budget related to compensation for the company and monitor execution.
  7. Support the company employee’s motivation and engagement improvement activities as part of the total compensation scheme.
  8. Establish and maintain effective relationships with external compensation services providers
  9. Working relationships at all levels in the function enabled communication and organisational alignment
  10. Thrive for continuous improvement of processes and policies in own area of responsibility while exploring growth opportunities and/or cost effectiveness.

Requirements

  1. University Degree with 5 – 7 years of experience in rewards or finance
  2. Knowledge of and experience in developing effective reward & compensation systems
  3. Knowledge of Nigerian labour laws
  4. Project Management
