Job Position: Personal Assistant

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Company Description

  • Our Client is looking to hire a Personal Assistant who will be reporting to the Managing Director.

Job Description

  1. Provide comprehensive secretarial support and assistance to the MD in the discharge of his/her duties.
  2. Proactively prioritize, plan and schedule MD’s busy schedule, and electronic diary, assessing the priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary.
  3. Manage MD’s travel log and travel arrangements including visas/accommodation.
  4. Manage relationships with both internal and external customers, teams, partners etc.
  5. Manage arrangements for management meetings, taking minutes and typing minutes of the meeting.
  6. Send reminders to all stakeholders on pending tasks/projects.
  7. Process MD’s correspondences, manage office systems including data management and filling.
  8. Screen calls, inquiries and requests; filter email and ensure they are attended to as per urgency/priority.
  9. Organize food/refreshments to business lunches/visitors.
  10. Reconcile monthly expenses.
  11. Organize appointments for the MD including personal/medical/dental/business appointments.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Minimum of five years experience as a Personal Assistant
  3. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  4. MS Office and English proficiency
  5. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  6. Up-to-date with the latest office gadgets and applications.
  7. Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Discretion and confidentiality.
