Job Position: Pharmacist Assistant
Location: Okota, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist customers with inquiries regarding products and services in the pharmacy
  2. Provide information about medications, including dosage, side effects, and interactions
  3. Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately at the cash register
  4. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy area
  5. Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary
  6. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accurate prescription fulfilment
  7. Educate customers on over-the-counter products and health essentials
  8. Stay informed about new medications and pharmaceutical developments that could benefit customers.

Requirements

  1. BSc / HND in Pharmacology, Physiology, Microbiology, Nursing and Midwifery
  2. 1 – 2 years of experience in retail or pharmacy is a plus
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers
  4. Basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medications, and health products
  5. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  6. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions and medication information
  7. Excellent Communication and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns
  8. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory software.
