Job Position: Pharmacist (3 Openings)
Locations: Abuja, Lagos and Ogun

Job Summary

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing professional health advice, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the pharmacy.

This role plays a key part in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care while supporting the growth and operational efficiency of BetaCare Plus Pharmaceuticals.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in line with professional and regulatory standards.
  2. Counsel patients on drug use, side effects, lifestyle, and preventive health practices.
  3. Monitor drug therapies, detect interactions, and ensure safe usage.
  4. Maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
  5. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and auxiliary staff.
  6. Ensure full compliance with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and other regulatory guidelines.
  7. Manage inventory, check stock levels, and prevent drug shortages or expiries.
  8. Promote wellness initiatives and the company’s white-label products where relevant.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Accuracy of dispensing and patient counselling.
  2. Patient satisfaction and retention rates.
  3. Inventory management efficiency (stock availability, minimal expiries).
  4. Regulatory compliance (zero penalties).
  5. Contribution to sales growth and performance-based targets.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and current license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  2. 1 – 2 years of experience in a retail/community pharmacy setting.
  3. Strong knowledge of drugs, dosage requirements, and potential interactions.
  4. Excellent patient communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
  5. Ability to manage staff and work within a team-oriented environment.
  6. Integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to patient-centred care.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and basic digital health tools.
  2. Experience in community outreach or wellness campaigns.
  3. Strong organisational and multitasking ability.

Remuneration
Competitive base salary (N200,000 – N300,000 Monthly) + performance-based commission.
