Job Summary
Our reputable and fast-growing retail pharmacy in Port Harcourt, is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate must be professional, customer-focused, and committed to delivering excellent healthcare services while actively contributing to the growth of the business through product recommendations and upselling.
Job Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately
- Provide professional advice on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects
- Ensure all prescriptions comply with regulatory and legal standards
- Cross-sell complementary health products and drive daily sales targets
- Offer personalized recommendations to customers based on their health needs
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Supervise and support pharmacy assistants in daily operations
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, guidelines, and ethical practices
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and promote health awareness
Requirements
- B.Pharm or Pharm.D from a recognized institution
- Valid license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail or community pharmacy preferred
- Female preferably for gender balance
- Strong communication, sales, and interpersonal skills
- Goal-oriented and proactive in achieving branch sales targets
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory systems is an advantage.
