Job Position: Piping Engineer

Job Description

  1. We’re on an evolutionary journey where we’re changing our story. We are looking to hire an experienced Piping Engineer to join our diverse team in our Company.
  2. In this role, you will be responsible for designing the piping and developing drawings for the installation and integration of equipment on both green field and brown field oil and gas production facilities.
  3. The scope includes Piping modifications, interconnection of equipment and upgrade/revamp activities as well as the development of accurate as-built drawings

Job Responsibilities

  1. Developing and driving project engineering programs to ensure optimal performance of production facilities.
  2. Hooking up piping designs for flowlines installation campaign
  3. Replacing corroded piping in the field.
  4. Piping designs for production optimization.
  5. Piping design for interconnection of field equipment.
  6. Functioning as Pipeline Field Engineer to spread the load pending when another Pipeline Engineer comes on board.
  7. Developing as-built drawings of facilities.
  8. Reviewing management of change proposals and developing modifications as needed to meeting standards for safety, environmental regulation, and equipment reliability.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Candidate must be very proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
  • 7+ years minimum experience in piping designs in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience working in the Niger Delta oil field is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively (minimal supervision) in a diverse multidiscipline team environment. History of success with complex production facilities and diverse personnel to ensure timely and efficient delivery of work product.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with peers, contractors, supervisors, and customers in a diverse workforce.
  • Must be able to adapt to and overcome the challenges peculiar to working in the Niger Delta Oil and Gas fields.
