The company’s focus is to provide healthy oil as a cooking medium to its customers. The company is Nigeria’s trusted name for supply of refined palm oil, palm kernel oil, olein, soybean Oil, stearin, soybean meal, soy lecithin, and palm kernel de-oiled cake. Our oils are used as healthy cooking medium. Soybean meal and palm kernel de-oiled cake are used in premier poultry / animal feed.

Job Position: Procurement Executive

Job Responsibilities

  1. Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing processes.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and timely delivery.
  3. Monitor market trends, assess supplier capabilities, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  4. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and procurement best practices.
  6. Prepare and analyze reports to track procurement metrics, such as supplier performance, inventory levels, and budget utilization.
  7. Utilize Excel and ERP systems to streamline procurement processes, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times.
  8. Implement inventory management techniques to optimize stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and logistics, to coordinate procurement activities and support operational objectives.
  10. Foster positive relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  11. Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
  12. Work closely with suppliers to identify opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (8 years) in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
  4. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement and inventory management.
  5. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  8. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  9. Familiarity with procurement best practices, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
