Job Position: Procurement Officer

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
  2. Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
  3. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
  4. Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings.
  5. Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.

Job Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a similar field preferred.
  2. Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role.
  3. Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems
  7. Proficient with use of Microsoft EXCEL.
