Job Position: Procurement Officer

Job Location: Oyo

Job Responsibilities

  1. Overseeing and supervising the procurement of goods, tools and equipment
  2. Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  3. Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  4. Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
  5. Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  6. Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  7. Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
  8. Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
  9. Product Bargaining and Negotiation
  10. Purchase Requisition & Management
  11. Vendor Evaluation & Management
  12. Market Survey & Competitive Pricing
  13. Implement Cost Saving initiatives & Measures
  14. Conducting Market surveys
  15. Define Benchmark pricing
  16. Cost Savings & Cost Analysis
  17. Analyze supply chain systems
  18. Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND with 2 – 4 years’ work experience in Procurement of Ammonium nitrate
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
