Job Position: Procurement Officer
Location: Ogudu, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise sourcing and supplier selection processes.
  2. Identify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
  3. Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
  4. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as production, finance, and operations, to align procurement activities with business needs.
  5. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels while minimising carrying costs.
  7. Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions.
  8. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an HND / NCE / OND / B.Sc Degree with relevant experience.
