Job Position: Product Application Engineer, Power Product

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the sales force by providing high-level product expertise and knowledge of the targeted product-centric application to customers.
  2. Develop and manage the product offering of Power Product (Products and solutions) in addition to providing the first line of Technical support to internal & external stakeholders.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for all aspects of business development, marketing mix, product, price, promotion & place.
  4. Your Role – Magic happens when you bring great people together!
  5. Act as the primary point of contact for the various power product offers providing operational support for the different stakeholders, internally & externally
  6. Define the go-to-market strategies by studying the various segments, understanding customer needs, analyzing competition and effective price positioning
  7. Responsible for the profitability of the offer, price realization, mix management, marketing communications and promotional campaigns
  8. Ensure the successful conversion of a bid to order by working closely with the sales, global & cluster marketing teams, supply chain  project tendering &execution teams
  9. Work closely with the consultant prescription teams to ensure Schneider is an approved /preferred supplier
  10. Provide technical & product offering seminars and trainings to internal &external stakeholders such as partners, consultants, contractors & end users
  11. Collaborate strongly with the Marcomm team to bring high visibility of the power product offers in the Market.

Job Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
  3. in sales/Business development or marketing functions.
  4. Knowledge: Basic Understanding of Sales.
  5. Customer Satisfaction and Service Delivery.
  6. Price management knowledge

Ethics and Compliance:

  1. Skills: Excellent Presentation Skills.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office and various Digital Tools would be an added advantage
  3. Verbal and Written Communication.
