Job Description

  1. Afrihealth is seeking an exceptional Product Manager to lead the charge for our innovative product, Rigour+.
  2. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing innovative products that improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare processes.
  3. This role will involve working closely with crossfunctional teams to define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and drive the successful delivery of our health technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Define the product vision and strategy for our health tech products, in alignment with company goals and market needs
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, and translate them into user stories and product specifications
  3. Work closely with the development team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of product features and enhancements
  4. Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement
  5. Monitor key performance indicators and user feedback to continuously iterate and enhance the product offering
  6. Drive the gotomarket strategy for new product releases, including developing marketing collateral and supporting sales efforts
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert for health tech products, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external customers
  8. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery
  9. Lead and mentor junior product team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence

Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Product Manager within a techfocused environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging newage tools, including AI, for successful product launches and improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make datadriven decisions and prioritize efficiency.
  • Experience in a fastpaced startup is highly desirable.
  • Background in the health industry is a plus but not essential.
