Job Position: Product Manager (Pharmacist)
Location: Lagos

Job Overview

  1. The Product Manager is responsible for identifying the customer need and the larger business objectives that PPL products or features will fulfil.
  2. He/she articulates what success looks like for PPL’s product, and rallies a team to turn that vision into a reality.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide the sales team with the necessary knowledge about each product to enable them to sell effectively and efficiently.
  2. Provide adequate and appropriate printed and electronic promotional materials and ensure that these are effectively and judiciously used by both the field sales force and the head office.
  3. Regular review of product data, to keep every member of the sales force abreast of competing firms and products.
  4. Act as the point of first reference and coordinator of every product-related inquiry.
  5. Assist in developing and institutionalising a robust marketing and market research framework for the company.
  6. Assist in the development and operationalisation of annual marketing plans.
  7. Product forecasting and general inventory management.
  8. Conceptualisation and effective implementation of product campaign strategies and tactics.
  9. Assist in evaluating each rep and region’s product-by-product performance vis-a-vis agreed targets.
  10. Develop and maintain a robust data management & market intelligence gathering system to ensure that competitive data about competing firms, competing products, and customers are always collected, processed, and stored in retrievable forms to support marketing & sales strategies and decisions.
  11. Analyse and report on product performance to determine ROI.

job Qualifications

  1. Degree in Pharmacy.
  2. Relevant Professional Certification.

Experience:

  1. 3+ years’ experience in Product Management.

Key skills & competencies requirements:
Functional / Technical:

  1. The candidate must have excellent communication skills
  2. Strong social media knowledge
  3. Strong innovative skills and Good diction
  4. Must be willing to travel within the country
  5. Candidates outside of Lagos must be willing to relocate to Lagos.

Behavioural:

  1. Speaking
  2. Sound judgement
  3. Analytics.
