Job Position: Product Marketing Growth & Content Strategist
Location: Lagos

Role Overview

This is a strategic and pivotal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product storytelling, growth strategy, and performance-driven marketing.

As the Product Marketing, Growth & Content Strategist, you will be the voice of the PicckR brand, shaping how users understand, trust, and adopt our Delivery solution — while owning campaigns that drive measurable user and revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities
Product Marketing Strategy & Launch Execution:

  1. Develop and manage go-to-market (GTM) strategies for product launches and updates.
  2. Create product messaging and positioning frameworks that resonate with both customers and delivery partners (PicckRs).
  3. Conduct competitive and market analysis, user research, and performance insights to shape marketing decisions.
  4. Align closely with Product and Tech teams for timely announcements, roadmap input, and feedback integration.
  5. Lead product announcement planning, launch communications, and post-launch tracking.

Growth Campaigns & Performance Marketing:

  1. Plan and execute integrated growth campaigns (acquisition, retention, and referral) with a strong focus on app usage and ROI.
  2. Leverage paid and organic marketing tactics, including social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and offline activation.
  3. Monitor growth KPIs: app installs, CAC, activation rate, LTV, churn rate, etc.
  4. Set up and manage campaign tracking with UTM tags, GA4, Mixpanel, etc.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external teams on paid acquisition and SEO initiatives.

Content Strategy & Creation:

  1. Own the end-to-end content calendar – from ideation to publishing to performance reporting.
  2. Write and edit high-converting content: landing pages, blogs, in-app messaging, social captions, push notifications, and PR.
  3. Build storytelling arcs around use cases, founder vision, user testimonials, and community stories.
  4. Ensure alignment of content with SEO best practices, product strategy, and audience insights.
  5. Champion consistent tone of voice and brand storytelling across platforms.

Partnerships & Co-Marketing:

  1. Manage and execute co-marketing with merchants or affiliates, where applicable.
  2. Collaborate on joint campaigns with delivery partners, influencers, and media outlets to drive product trust and visibility.
  3. Develop and manage event marketing, sponsorship activations, and community-led campaigns.

Internal & External Communications:

  1. Maintain consistent internal marketing alignment with Product, Support, and Engineering for change management, updates, and escalations.
  2. Own external communications like newsletters, platform updates, and public-facing documentation.

Reporting & Optimisation:

  1. Deliver regular performance reports on content, campaigns, and growth initiatives.
  2. Analyse content engagement, campaign ROI, and audience trends to optimise future activities.
  3. Present data-backed insights to the leadership team and proactively iterate on underperforming campaigns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Brand Awareness: Reach, mentions, impressions, PR coverage
  2. Product Growth: App downloads, activation rate, user retention
  3. Engagement: Blog views, social shares, email CTR
  4. Conversion: Sign-up rate, referral rate, CAC vs LTV
  5. Content Health: Publication consistency, SEO ranking
  6. Campaign ROI: Paid ad ROAS, UTM campaign performance

Required Experience

  1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
  2. 3–6+ years in Product Marketing, Content Strategy, or Growth Marketing
  3. Proven track record in product launches, GTM campaigns, and SEO/content growth
  4. Strong writing/editing skills + creative storytelling ability
  5. Familiarity with tools like GA4, HubSpot, Canva, Webflow, Figma, etc
  6. Previous work in tech/startup/marketplace environments
  7. Bonus: Background in Delivery, mobility, or the gig economy is a big plus

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
