Golden Oil Industries Limited was incorporated in Nigeria on 8th September, 1988, and has grown into a household name in Nigeria’s edible oil’s industry. The company’s focus is to provide healthy oil as a cooking medium to its customers. The company is Nigeria’s trusted name for supply of refined palm oil, palm kernel oil, olein, soybean Oil, stearin, soybean meal, soy lecithin, and palm kernel de-oiled cake. Our oils are used as healthy cooking medium. Soybean meal and palm kernel de-oiled cake are used in premier poultry / animal feed.

The company’s products have been duly certified by the appropriate regulatory agencies Such as the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA). Golden Oil has modern processing technology and plants, which can be compared to worldwide standards. Job Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budget estimates. Contribute to the development of project strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Execution and Monitoring: Lead project teams through the execution phase, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones. Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.  Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to support project goals. Coordinate with team members to ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined. Anticipate resource needs and work to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes. Implement strategies to minimize project risks and ensure successful delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming tasks. Address stakeholder concerns and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and achievements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to developing best practices. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the project team.
  • ERP Configuration & Implementation: Work closely with the IT and ERP implementation teams to configure stock-related modules within the ERP system to align with the company’s inventory management requirements to meet the specific needs of the manufacturing processes.

Job Requirements

  • BSc / HND or equivalent in a relevant field (project management, business, engineering).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in project management.
  • Strong attention to deadlines, and budgetary. Experience in developing platforms for internal processes.
  • Experience coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills, and ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to train and supervise plant employees effectively.
  • Proficiency in using Project management software and tools for monitoring and reporting purposes.
