Job Position: Program Intern

Job Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • Provides program support to all projects under the supervision of the Project Director.

Job Responsibilities|

  1. Directly support the Project Director on all programmatic initiatives.
  2. Support the development of work plans and budgets.
  3. Support in planning for workshops and meetings
  4. Collate and harmonize monthly activities reports.
  5. Lead the development and tracking of monthly activity calendar.
  6. Provide program support to the technical team.
  7. Provide logistics and admin support during program meetings.
  8. Support in the collation of reports and success story development from the projects.
  9. Any other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in International Development, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 Year Post NYSC experience in a similar role in the NGO sector.
  3. Motivated to work with tight deadlines and ambitious targets,
  4. Outstanding communication skills (oral and written).
  5. Able to process large amounts of information quickly and take decisions to solve problems.
  6. Capable of working effectively in a team and independently when required.
  7.  Proficient in English (any other foreign language is an asset) Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
