Job Position: Project Management Associate
Location: Abuja
Job Summary / Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for a project management associate.
We are seeking a highly resourceful, organised and detail-oriented individual, capable of initiating, planning and managing projects in alignment with broad organisational goals and business impact.
The role requires strong research analytical skills, including tasks like gathering information, creating documentation, and supporting the team with report/proposal/grant writing and development of project plans.
The role involves the creation of workflows, task definition and development of high-level, detailed timelines and project plans.
Must have the ability to multitask, strong communication and a research driven mindset.
The associate will be responsible for office management operations and administrative functions
Work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate and efficient execution of projects and contribute to the overall success of the firm’s strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out market research, business intelligence (qualitative and quantitative research) on industry trends, markets, and competitors.
- Project Planning and Execution
- Monitoring Project Performance: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs),
- Document Management: Maintaining project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and other essential records.
- Communication and Coordination: Facilitating communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring information flows effectively.
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Fundraising/Grant Sourcing/proposal writing
- Strategic partnerships /Stakeholder engagement
- Technical support for tender and proposal preparation
- Develop SOPs, KPI’s, and Staff Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Economics or a related field. (Preferred; MBA)
- Certifications: (Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus) CAPM.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in a project management role
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies: Capable of using the Project Management ERP solution. Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall frameworks is helpful.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills:
- Organisational and time management skills: experienced in administrative support and/or research analysis.
- Proficiency in relevant project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project) can be beneficial.
- Familiar with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, or Excel advanced functions)
- Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and Canva.

Salary
