Job Description

  1. As an Entrepreneurial Agriculture Project Manager with a specialization in engineering or agricultural technology, you will lead innovative agricultural projects with a strong focus on entrepreneurship.
  2. Your role involves merging technical expertise with business acumen to drive sustainable and profitable agricultural initiatives.
  3. This position requires creativity, adaptability, and the ability to identify and seize entrepreneurial opportunities within the agriculture sector.

Job Responsibilities
Innovative Project Development:

  1. Identify and conceptualize entrepreneurial opportunities within the agriculture sector.
  2. Develop and pitch new project ideas that integrate cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices.

Business Planning and Strategy:

  1. Create comprehensive business plans for agriculture projects, considering engineering and technological advancement.
  2. Develop strategies to maximize project profitability and return on investment.

Technology Integration and Optimization:

  1. Implement and optimize agricultural technologies to enhance productivity and resource efficiency.
  2. Evaluate and leverage emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Financial Management:

  1. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation.
  2. Identify funding sources, grants, and partnerships to support entrepreneurial agricultural initiatives.

Market Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, demands, and potential niches for entrepreneurial ventures.
  2. Engage with stakeholders, including farmers, investors, and industry experts, to build strategic partnerships.

Risk-Taking and Innovation:

  1. Embrace a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, taking calculated risks to drive project innovation.
  2. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and exploration of new opportunities.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in entrepreneurial roles within the agriculture sector, demonstrating a track record of successful project development.
  3. Strong understanding of both technical aspects and business principles related to agriculture.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building partnerships and securing funding.
  5. Ability to think creatively, identify opportunities, and navigate uncertainties.
  6. Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
