Job Position: Project Manager

Job Location: Ibadan, Nigeria

Job Description

  • To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in Project Management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  2. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  3. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  4. Track project costs in order to meet budget.
  5. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  6. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  7. Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  8. Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  9. Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  10. Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing, and summarising relevant information.
  11. Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
  12. Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  13. Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  14. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

Job Requirements

  1. A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  3. Proven experience in project management.
  4. Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
  5. Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
  6. Budget management experience.
