Job Position: Project Manager
Job Location: Benin City, Edo
Job Description
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead project team members to ensure all aspects of the project are completed on schedule.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including team members, clients, and upper management.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Identify and manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Lead and motivate project team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration among team members.
- Determine and manage project resource requirements, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Develop and manage project budgets, estimating time and costs.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered with high quality and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Implement and manage project quality control systems
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Provide regular updates to upper management and key stakeholders on project status, issues, and risks.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with project management best practices and emerging trends.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architect, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivered projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies eg. Waterfall.
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
