Job Position: Public Relations Officer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

The Public Relations officer is responsible for planning publicity campaigns, writing and producing presentations and press releases, and dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organisations.

Organising and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days and exhibitions, tours, and visits.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies
  2. Communicate with internal teams
  3. Edit and update promotional material and publications (Brochures, Videos, social media posts, etc)
  4. Prepare and distribute a press release.
  5. Prepare and submit PR reports
  6. Delivery and dispatch of company letters
  7. Perform any additional assignments as directed by the management.

Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, sales, marketing or relevant fields with 2-6 years of experience.
  2. Proven experience in PR or communications, preferably in the construction industry
  3. Excellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills
  4. Strong understanding of the construction industry (desirable)
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
