Job Description

• We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, creative, flexible and experienced QA Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated test to ensure product quality.

Job Responsibilities

1. Test mobile applications across various platforms (iOS and Android) to identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
2. Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
3. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
4. Monitor debugging process results
5. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
6. Test current products and identify deficiencies
7. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
8. Develop and monitor performance metrics for all stages of the production process
9. Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution
10. Plan, create and manage the overall quality planning strategy
11. Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement
12. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
13. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
14. Leverage automation capability for API testing
15. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
16. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
17. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
18. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
19. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
20. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
21. Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
22. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
23. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

Job Requirements

1. B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
2. Minimum of 3+ years experience as QA Software Engineer
3. Familiar with native Android and IOS development frameworks
4. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
5. Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance
6. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
7. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, hands-on experience with automated testing tools
8. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
9. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
10. Experience with performance and/or security testing
11. Familiarity with different types of testing (functional, regression, integration, etc.) and related techniques
12. Know and understand the rules of creating a good API, how http works, and how to create JSON/XML files.
13. Proven work experience in the use of tools that are good for particular test tasks (Charles, Postman, JMeter, etc.)
14. Must be familiar with programming skills like Java, Python, or Javascript.
15. Must be experienced in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
16. Proficiency in developing automated test systems
17. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
