Job Position: QA/QC (Quality Assurance / Quality Control) Specialist

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  1. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist to ensure the delivery of exceptional training programs and services.
  2. This individual will play a critical role in developing and implementing quality management systems, maintaining quality standards, and continuously improving our training offerings.
  3. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for rendering QA/QC services to both our esteemed clients and the institute itself.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Implement Quality Management Systems and Procedures: Design and implement robust quality management systems and procedures to maintain high standards throughout the training process.
  2. Establish Quality Standards for Training Programs and Materials: Define clear and measurable quality benchmarks for all training programs and materials to ensure excellence in content and delivery.
  3. Conduct Audits and Inspections: Regularly conduct audits and inspections to assess compliance with established quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Recommend Corrective Actions: Proactively identify areas needing improvement and recommend corrective actions to enhance training effectiveness and efficiency.
  5. Monitor and Evaluate Training Delivery: Continuously monitor and evaluate training delivery to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
  6. Develop Documentation for ISO Certification and Implementation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for ISO certification and guide clients through the implementation process.
  7. Train Clients on ISO Implementation and Internal Auditing: Provide expert training and support to clients on ISO implementation and internal auditing practices.
  8. Conduct Audits and Inspections for Clients: Offer QA/QC services to clients, conducting audits and inspections to assess their compliance with quality standards.

Job Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education, Training, Quality Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar role in the training and education industry.
  3. Certification in ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 10015, or relevant) is highly desirable.
  4. Familiarity with the oil and gas industry or other relevant sectors is a plus.
  5. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing quality management systems.
  6. Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and delivering ISO-related training to clients.

Skills Required:

  1. Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles in the context of training and education.
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  3. Proficiency in developing and implementing quality management systems and procedures.
  4. Familiarity with ISO certification requirements and processes.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail to conduct thorough audits and inspections.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
  7. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  8. Strong organizational skills to maintain documentation and ensure smooth QA/QC operations.
