Job Position: Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Ogun
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will ensure that all processes, products, and outputs meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
You will play a key role in maintaining consistency, reducing defects, and driving continuous improvement across the production line.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Investigate and document quality issues, non-conformities, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and HSE teams to ensure quality integration across operations.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Support training initiatives on quality standards for staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 4–5 years’ quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment.
- Experience in the use of a spectrometer is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of ISO standards, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience in the aluminium/copper sector is an added advantage.
