Job Position: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all quality control procedures and standards are followed.
- Implementing corrective actions to address any issues
- Maintaining a documentation and records of quality control activities.
- Staying updated on industry standards and regulations
- Preparing documents
- Check work orders or blueprints to make sure products are up to company standards.
- Record the results of inspections, compute the proportion of products that are defective, and prepare reports.
- Conduct product tests and assessment using appropriate test methods, checking that specifications are met.
- Identify product defects or potential issues and determining what to do to resolve the issue.
- Record and report issues to help identify and eliminate recurring problems and provide a paper trail to aid in accountability and error reporting. Provide the reports to supervisors / managers to help them make decisions about HR processes and practices.
- Support process improvements throughout the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that products are produced consistently.
- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
- Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
- Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission
- Develop service procedures, policies and standards
- Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions
- Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports
- Set the tone for your team – coaching, instilling a strong customer focus and setting high standards.
- Keep ahead of industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
- Control resources and utilise assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
- Adhere to and manage the approved budget
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.
Job Requirements
- Holds HND / B.Sc in a Science discipline.
- Knowledge of valves test; Isolation and safety.
- At least 3 years cognate QAQC experience.
- Demonstrable knowledge of test certificates preparation.
- Sound knowledge of Valves surface preparation process.
- Sound knowledge of pressure safety valve certificate.
- Sound computer skills
- Proven experience of working with minimum supervision.
- Attention to detail to ensure effective assessment and analysis.
- Sound oral and written communication skill.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
