Job Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring that all quality control procedures and standards are followed.
  2. Implementing corrective actions to address any issues
  3. Maintaining a documentation and records of quality control activities.
  4. Staying updated on industry standards and regulations
  5. Preparing documents
  6. Check work orders or blueprints to make sure products are up to company standards.
  7. Record the results of inspections, compute the proportion of products that are defective, and prepare reports.
  8. Conduct product tests and assessment using appropriate test methods, checking that specifications are met.
  9. Identify product defects or potential issues and determining what to do to resolve the issue.
  10. Record and report issues to help identify and eliminate recurring problems and provide a paper trail to aid in accountability and error reporting. Provide the reports to supervisors / managers to help them make decisions about HR processes and practices.
  11. Support process improvements throughout the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that products are produced consistently.
  12. Work collaboratively with other team members
  13. Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
  14. Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
  15. Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission
  16. Develop service procedures, policies and standards
  17. Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions
  18. Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports
  19. Set the tone for your team – coaching, instilling a strong customer focus and setting high standards.
  20. Keep ahead of industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
  21. Control resources and utilise assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
  22. Adhere to and manage the approved budget
  23. Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.

Job Requirements

  1. Holds HND / B.Sc in a Science discipline.
  2. Knowledge of valves test; Isolation and safety.
  3. At least 3 years cognate QAQC experience.
  4. Demonstrable knowledge of test certificates preparation.
  5. Sound knowledge of Valves surface preparation process.
  6. Sound knowledge of pressure safety valve certificate.
  7. Sound computer skills
  8. Proven experience of working with minimum supervision.
  9. Attention to detail to ensure effective assessment and analysis.
  10. Sound oral and written communication skill.
  11. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
