Job Position: Quality Control Officer
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Officer to ensure that all garments and laundry items meet our company’s quality standards before they are delivered to customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, an understanding of garment handling and fabric care, and a commitment to maintaining service excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, proper ironing/pressing, and damage before packaging and delivery.
  2. Monitor each stage of the laundry process to ensure standards are met (washing, drying, ironing, folding).
  3. Identify and report defects such as stains, tears, discolouration, or shrinkage.
  4. Ensure garments are matched with the correct customer tags and packed appropriately.
  5. Collaborate with wash floor and ironing teams to improve handling processes.
  6. Document and report recurring quality issues and suggest process improvements.
  7. Train or brief staff on quality expectations and proper garment handling.
  8. Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained throughout the laundry facility.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of SSCE / OND; additional training in textile care or quality assurance is a plus.
  2. At least 1 year of previous experience in a laundry, garment care, or housekeeping environment preferred.
  3. Good understanding of different fabric types and appropriate treatment methods.
  4. Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to work.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary
N100,000 per month.
