Karsto Global Resources Limited is a wholly owned indigenous Oil and Gas Company located in Port Harcourt and established with a view to rendering quality onshore/offshore services in the West African sub region.

Job Position: QA / QC Personnel

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the implementation of the QA/QC management system at site.
  2. Assist quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors; and all non-destructive testing on site.
  3. Coordinate all receipt inspections.
  4. Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
  5. Assist in verification to make sure quality related site activities are in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  6. Participate in internal and external site audits.
  7. Review site purchase orders to ensure that the applicable requirements are met.
  8. Assist with onsite and offsite vendor inspections.
  9. Review vendor’s QA/QC systems in accordance with contractual requirements.
  10. Assist in the review of the Client’s specification.
  11. Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.
  12. Assist with the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the Client
  13. Review of supplier quality plans against contract requirements.
  14. Review procurement documents to ensure that quality requirement have been correctly translated into purchase requisitions and design documents
  15. Assist in the review of vendor’s inspection procedures and personnel qualifications.
  16. Review vendor’s material certificates.
  17. Take part in vendor audits and surveillances.
  18. Participate in the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractor’s QC personnel.
  19. Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for hand over.
  20. Issue of non-conformance reports.
  21. Track all non-conformance reports.
  22. Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action.
  23. Coordinate with the owner’s representative on all quality issues relating to material procurement.
  24. Monitor progress of all purchase requisitions.
  25. Elaborate inspection and test programs.

Job Requirements

  1. Experience: 5 years’ experience as a QA/QC
  2. B.Sc / B.Eng / HND in Engineering
  3. Proven experience working in a Project management role in manufacturing, construction and/or oil and gas industries
  4. NACE1 and CSWIP Certifications
  5. Other QA/QC certifications and Trainings.

Abilities:

  1. Sound knowledge in controlling of document and transmittal issuance
  2. Ability to review test results in conformance to applicable codes and standards
  3. Excellent analytical skills
  4. Excellent training skills
  5. Able to provide detailed audit reports with relevant required preventive and corrective measures
  6. Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  7. Good team working skills
  8. Good problem solving skills
  9. Good Microsoft Office skills.
