Job Position: Recovery Officer

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Mission

  1. Recover bad debts from debtors who show unwillingness to pay back the loan taken.
  2. Conduct regular review and visits to clients with outstanding loan portfolios at risk.
  3. Daily review of all the outstanding and overdue loan clients.
  4. Make regular reports and suggestions to the bank on actions required to protect its fund from bad loan clients.
  5. Recovery of classified loans.
  6. Initiates process to prosecute hard core debtors in line with guiding bank policy,
  7. Negotiate work out plans with willing debtors.
  8. Liaise with branches to manage and monitor non – performing loans.
  9. Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND or B.Sc Degree
  • 1 – 3 Years of experience in Recovery in a Microfinance Institution
  • Fluent in English and Hausa or Yoruba (spoken and written)
  • Strong negotiation
  • Articulate and result oriented
  • High level of integrity
  • Accurate, organised and motivated
  • Previous loan recovery experience

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 / Month
