Job Description

  1. Our company is a startup food company that specializes in dried seafoods based in Lagos and we are looking for a Retail Marketing / Relationship officer to build and preserve trusting relationships with our customers.
  2. The ideal candidate is expected to find ways to get into as many stores as possible, outperform our competition and maintain our company’s positive image.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Building positive relationships with customers/clients
  2. Assisting with generating new business
  3. Build long-term relationships with clients and customers
  4. Identify opportunities for greater profits
  5. Understand customers needs and develop plans to address them
  6. Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships
  7. Resolve customers complaints quickly and effectively
  8. Forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales team
  9. Promote high-quality sales, supply, and customer service processes
  10. Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts
  11. Approach potential customers to establish relationships
  12. Become familiar with the competition to stay ahead
  13. Help promote and maintain a positive company image.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a minimum of HND qualification with at least 1 year relevant work experience.

Required Skills:

  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain skills.
  2. A background in customer service or sales is a plus
  3. Must understand customer relationship management (CRM)
  4. Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly
  5. Ability to work well with others and lead a team
  6. Attentive to details and organized.
