The Association of Corporate Treasurers of Nigeria (ACTN) was incorporated in August 2014, as an Association Limited by Guarantee (LTD/GTE) to foster the interests of Corporate Treasurers of the non-financial organizations by providing a platform for policy advocacy, discussions on issues of mutual interest, education and standard development of the corporate treasury function.

Job Position: NYSC Corp Member – Research & Training Officer

Job Description

  1. The Association of Corporate Treasurers of Nigeria (ACTN) is seeking a passionate and skilled Research & Training Officer to support the organization’s research initiatives and training programs.
  2. The role requires a proactive individual with a keen interest in financial research and expertise in coordinating training activities.

Job Responsibilities
Research Initiatives:

  1. Conduct research on financial trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes relevant to corporate treasury.
  2. Prepare comprehensive reports, white papers, and presentations based on research findings.
  3. Analyze data and interpret trends to provide valuable insights to the association and its members.

Training Program Coordination:

  1. Coordinate the development and delivery of training programs and workshops related to corporate treasury.
  2. Collaborate with subject matter experts to design training content and materials.
  3. Organize logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant registrations.

Content Development:

  1. Develop engaging and informative content for training materials, presentations, and publications.
  2. Ensure the quality and accuracy of training resources and materials.

Member Engagement:

  1. Engage with association members to identify training needs and preferences.
  2. Collect feedback and evaluate training effectiveness to improve future programs.

Collaboration and Partnerships:

  1. Establish partnerships with industry experts, institutions, and organizations for collaborative research and training initiatives.
  2. Represent the association in relevant industry forums and events.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office suite and research tools/software.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
