Job Position: Researcher

Job Location: Benin City, Nigeria

1. Coordinate with business management to determine research objectives
2. Work following project brief and deliver frequent project updates
3. Develop and direct given research assignments
4. Create a plan of action, set project goals, and manage to completion
5. Conduct detailed research of intended subject matter according to business needs
6. Formulate effective and efficient research processes
7. Identify market trends and patterns
8. Design surveys, questionnaires, polls, etc. specific to research requirements
9. Test research methodologies to confirm the intended purpose of the evaluation
10. Perform fieldwork, interviews, experiments, concept tests, etc. to gather data
11. Utilize various professional sources to find and extract pertinent information
12. Perform evaluative analysis of selected resources and current market data
13. Organize and maintain research databases
14. Frequently self-audit work and check data for errors and inconsistencies

1. Bachelor’s degree in research, economics or related field required; master’s degree preferred
2. Extensive and proven experience in the field of research
3. Knowledgeable in various research and testing methodologies
4. Experience using statistical analysis software
5. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
6. In-depth knowledge of the specific field
7. Strong math and statistical skills
8. Perform objective and ethical research at all times
9. Well-versed in database management
10. Effective communicator, both orally and written
