Job Position: Retail Collection Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate is responsible for the sustainability of quality loan portfolios and protects risk assets against deterioration thereby keeping non-performing loans (NPLs) within acceptable standards.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identification of early warning signals
  2. Reduction in number and value of unpaid obligation
  3. Monitor change in days past due and watch listed accounts
  4. Engage customers qualifying for loan top-up
  5. Set up digital customer obligation reminders
  6. Daily post disbursement review of retail loans
  7. Monitor and engage customers for proper document vaulting
  8. Engage Product Managers on new delinquency trend.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field (Experience in loan monitoring and recovery is an added advantage)

  1. Good understanding and use of excel
  2. Business presentation skills
  3. Good communication skills
  4. Understanding CBN Prudential Guideline
  5. Key Account Management
  6. Credit/Collections
  7. Customer need identification
  8. Customer engagement
  9. Policy formulation and implementation
  10. Good attention to details and changes.
