Job Description

  1. As a Sales Admin Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth functioning of sales operations.
  2. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in managing administrative tasks, providing technical support, and coordinating with various internal teams to facilitate the sales process.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist in preparing and maintaining sales documentation, including proposals, quotations, contracts, and customer records.
  2. Organize and manage sales-related databases, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  3. Coordinate with other administrative staff to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  4. Provide technical assistance to the sales team and customers regarding product specifications, features, and capabilities.
  5. Collaborate with engineers and technical experts to address customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
  6. Assist in processing sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details.
  7. Coordinate with various departments, such as inventory and logistics, to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  8. Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, addressing technical questions and concerns.
  9. Serve as a liaison between customers and the sales team to provide timely updates and resolutions.
  10. Generate regular sales reports and analytics to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Assist in preparing sales forecasts and contribute to sales planning initiatives.
  12. Support sales team members in coordinating meetings, customer visits, and sales events.
  13. Maintain sales calendars and schedules, ensuring efficient time management for the sales team.
  14. Maintain and update customer and prospect databases with accurate and relevant information.
  15. Help identify and qualify leads for the sales team.
  16. Stay informed about the company’s products and services, keeping up to date with technical specifications and developments.
  17. Communicate product updates and changes to the sales team and customers as necessary.
  18. Assist in managing customer relationships by ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  19. Support efforts to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients.

Job Requirements
Competency / Skill / Requirement:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in sales support, administrative support, or a related role.
  3. Technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  5. Proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  7. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide exceptional support to customers and the sales team.
  8. Familiarity with CRM software or sales management tools is a plus.
