Job Position: Sales Analyst
Job Locations: Lagos and Mowe, Ogun
Job Description
- Our client is looking to hire a Sales Analyst who will collate and analyze sales data- including sales numbers, market research, follow up with the production, and other data- to improve the business’ productivity.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly stock inventory reports to include excess stock, and identify when we need to reorder stock.
- Support the reorder process, working with all parties to ensure the accuracy and completeness of required information.
- Support the invoicing and payment process- send an invoice to the client on dispatch of goods, reconcile all deliveries according to the PO and invoice, and ensure all payments are made according to the payment terms.
- Support the costing process, ensuring with each costing sheet there’s a target costing at the exact value.
- Support the inbound and outbound delivery process, liaising with the Warehouse to confirm received goods, as well as liaising with the Warehouse, logistics, and the client to confirm the accuracy of dispatched goods and a smooth installation process.
- Maintain an expense tracker for projects and other payments, track expenses per budget, and ensure up-to-date reconciliation.
- Support the purchasing and vendor management process by maintaining and providing information on buying history, competition price, exchange rate, etc. Also, liaise with vendors to ensure orders placed are shipped on time, the packing list is to be sent and goods are packaged and labeled correctly, all issues are highlighted and resolved immediately.
- Liaise with business stakeholders and managers to understand the requirements for reporting and deliver correct and accurate information.
- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
Job Requirements
- First Degree in Accounting, Marketing or related field
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Expert in Data entry
- Follow up with deliveries and after sales if requested.
- Excellent MS Excel and data processing skills.
- Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.
- Good research and data analysis skills.
- Good degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team working and interpersonal skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- An enquiring mindset consistently seeking innovative ways to deliver without compromising quality.
- A high level of mathematical and statistical ability
