Job Position: Sales Assistant – Retail Pharma
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will assist customers with their purchases, handle sales transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and support stock management. This role is perfect for someone passionate about customer service and retail operations.

Job  Responsibilities

  1. Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
  2. Provide product information and guide customers on over-the-counter (OTC) options (under pharmacist supervision)
  3. Process cash, card, and POS transactions accurately
  4. Restock shelves and ensure displays are tidy and well-organised
  5. Monitor product expiry dates and assist in inventory control
  6. Handle customer inquiries in-store, via phone, or online channels
  7. Keep the sales area clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
  8. Support merchandising and promotional activities

Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a B.Sc. degree
  2. Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Honest, punctual, and dependable
  5. High attention to detail and willingness to learn
  6. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  7. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

Experience working in a pharmacy or health-related retail environment, Social media, or basic digital sales skills
