Job Description

  1. As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing an exceptional shopping experience and driving sales growth.
  2. Your interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and ability to build customer relationships will contribute to the store’s success and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:

  1. Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.
  2. Understand customer needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations.
  3. Provide information about product features, pricing, and promotions.

Sales Generation:

  1. Actively engage with customers to initiate and close sales transactions.
  2. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  3. Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.

Product Knowledge:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of product offerings and specifications.
  2. Stay updated with new arrivals, trends, and product benefits.
  3. Communicate product details effectively to customers.

Customer Service:

  1. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns courteously and professionally.
  2. Resolve customer issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
  3. Ensure a positive shopping experience that builds customer loyalty.

Merchandising and Visual Presentation:

  1. Assist in maintaining visual displays and product arrangements.
  2. Restock shelves and ensure products are neatly presented.
  3. Participate in creating appealing store layouts and window displays.

Cash Handling and Transactions:

  1. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions.
  2. Handle cash and electronic payments with precision.
  3. Provide accurate receipts and manage cash register reconciliation.

Inventory Management:

  1. Assist in receiving and verifying incoming merchandise.
  2. Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
  3. Participate in inventory counts as required.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store goals and create a positive work environment.
  2. Share customer feedback, trends, and insights with the team.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  2. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport.
  5. Sales-driven with a passion for meeting targets and achieving results.
  6. Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and transactions.
  7. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  8. Energetic, enthusiastic, and a team player.
