Job Description

  1. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  2. Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  3. Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
  4. Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  5. “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
  6. Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  7. Actively seek out customers in store
  8. Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  9. Process POS (point of sale) purchases
  10. Cross sell products
  11. Handle returns of merchandise
  12. Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
  13. Build productive trust relationships with customers
  14. Comply with inventory control procedures
  15. Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design).
