Job Position: Senior Sales Digital Account Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description
Job Objective:

  • To create long-term relationships with the portfolio of assigned clients.
  • The account manager serves to understand the customer’s demands, plan how to meet these demands, and generate sales for the company as a result.

Job Responsibilities
Account Management:

  1. Monitor accounts and ensure that activities are up to date
  2. Ensure that key deliverable required for each account is delivered on time
  3. Attend status update meeting
  4. Liaise with client to ensure smooth running of account
  5. Liaise with social media and give them maximum support for the smooth running of the social media account

Relationship Management/Customer Retention:

  1. Managing a portfolio of accounts
  2. Ensuring that clients needs and requests are delivered on time and to specifications
  3. Dealing with all aspects of a campaign
  4. Leading and training other members of the account team
  5. Managing the work of account executives

Marketing Strategies:

  1. Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives
  2. Manage and grow key customer relationships within existing accounts whilst developing new business opportunities
  3. Plan and manage(monitor) major campaigns from start to finish
  4. Work with creative to deliver the creative required for the execution of campaigns

Corporate Image / Publicity:

  1. Attending client meetings
  2. Revenue generation/market expansion:
  3. Drive peak performance by way of increased revenue and profit
  4. Periodical analysis and reporting business performance as required
  5. Devising and implementing strategies for meeting account and revenue targets
  6. Reporting on activities and campaigns and presenting at meetings. Providing insights and recommendations
  7. Work with finance on media plan approval, vendor payments and client invoicing
  8. Prepare and share reconciliation plan for spend
  9. Monitor competition prepare and share report
  10. Budgeting/Sales and Marketing forecast and Development • Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements
  11. Liaise with product/tech to ensure that products are delivered as at when due
  12. Engage and work with vendors and influencers

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:

  1. University Degree in any Social Science or Business related course, with minimum of second class
  2. Account management skills
  3. Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
  4. Strong presentation skills and comfortable performing demonstrations
  5. Ability to multi-task effectively.
  6. Proficient user of various MS packages
  7. Decisive and intuitive
  8. A related Post graduate degree/Certification
  9. Good negotiation/deal closing skills
  10. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  11. Ability to work under pressure, strict timelines and no supervision
  12. Ability to multi-task effectively
  13. Creative approach to up-selling to an existing client base and generating new business
  14. In-depth knowledge in all aspects of digital marketing, including website content, social media, video production, e-marketing and metrics

Relevant Experience:

  • 2-5 years Corporate Sales and Account Management experience preferably in an advertising Agency, Understanding of Mobile, Web, and online advertising will be an added advantage.
