Job Position: Sales Engineer (Oil & Gas Sector)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Partner with a sales executive to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals
  2. Develop and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to meet potential clients needs
  3. Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
  4. Create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers
  5. Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
  6. Building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their requirements.
  7. Production of quotations for customers in a clear, detailed, and accurate manner.
  8. Attending exhibitions, conferences, and other events as organized by the business
  9. Prospecting and visiting potential new OEM customers
  10. Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues, as well as possible solutions, to top management.
  11. Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas
  12. Support the team by providing sales research and product knowledge expertise.
  13. Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data
  14. Regularly provide updates on the market competition analysis and trends.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related course
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience in engineering product sales
  • Good leadership and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
