Job Summary

A Sales Executive analyses local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.

Job Responsibilities

  1. As a Sales Executive, you will analyse local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.
  2. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  3. Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
  4. Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
  5. Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
  6. Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels
  7. Prepare company contracts for the hotel by current business and pricing conditions
  8. Work within current business strategies and recognise potential opportunities
  9. Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
  10. Attend Sales events, as required
  11. Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management, to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
  12. Answer customer queries promptly and professionally.
