Job Position: Sales Executive – Industrial
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and achieve sales volume and revenue targets as defined by the regional sales target.
  2. Generate new business and regular market visits to check the route against competing routes.
  3. In charge of new products assigned to him/her
  4. Develop the business and report, evaluate and build a sales funnel.
  5. Build strategies to maintain new and existing clients.
  6. Attend and organise regular sensitisation campaigns on all new products
  7. Ensure compliance with all sales practices, prepare market/sales report and recommendations.
  8. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, prospects and sales options
  9. Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents)

Requirements

  1. HND / B.Sc / B.Eng Degree  in a science-related field
  2. Must have a good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.
  3. Minimum of 2 years sales experience in Industrial sales (B2B direct sales)
  4. Good written and verbal communication skills
  5. Willing to travel around western Nigeria, 40%
  6. Must have very good knowledge of Lagos geography
  7. Previous engineering sales or industrial sales experience is a plus.
  8. Proactive sales planning and experience in sales account management
  9. The candidate must reside in Lagos
  10. Knowledge of occupational health and safety will be an added advantage.
