Job Position: Sales Manager, Health Insurance

Job Description

  1. Recruit, train, and mentor a team of health insurance sales agents.
  2. Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  3. Provide ongoing coaching and support to the sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales goals.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to create lead generation campaigns and foster new business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  2. Conduct regular client meetings to assess their satisfaction and address any concerns.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents, brokers, and other industry partners.

Product Knowledge:

  1. Stay updated on the latest health insurance products, policies, and industry trends.
  2. Train sales team members on new products and features.

Sales Strategy Development:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  2. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth.

Compliance and Reporting:

  1. Ensure that all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  2. Prepare regular sales reports and analysis for management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to enhance sales initiatives and product offerings.
  2. Work closely with other departments to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
  2. Minimum of 7 years experience in health insurance sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. In-depth knowledge of health insurance products, policies, and industry regulations.
  6. Proficient in using sales CRM software and other sales tools.
  7. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Insurance certifications and licenses would be an added advantage.
