Elum Energy is a fast-growing company based in Paris with offices in Morocco, South Africa, UAE, India, Singapore, Mexico & Brazil specialized in monitoring & control solutions for solar power plants. Elum technology allows for simple and optimized operations of rooftop solar plants or utility scale ground PV plants coupled or not with energy storage systems (batteries) and in some cases with existing thermal generation units (diesel generators).

Our reference customers are constructors (EPCs) and operators (IPPs) of solar power plants and/or energy producers such as TOTAL, ENGIE, GreenYellow, SolarCentury. Our technology currently equips more than 800 solar power plants in more than 40 countries, from 100kWp to 100MWp. Those plants directly power factories & shopping centers for example, are built to feed into the national grid (Europe), or are built to power remote / islanded cities (Caribbean, South Asia or in some African countries).

Job Position: Sales Manager, West Africa

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. As Sales Manager for West Africa, you will be working within the company’s Sub-Saharan Africa sales team.
  2. You will ensure the commercial development of Elum Energy in the region by closing new sales of our solar hybrid controllers.
  3. The position is preferably based in Lagos. Your market will be the whole West African region with a main focus on Nigeria & Ghana
  4. You will be dealing on a daily basis with EPCs, IPPs, energy specialists and electrical equipment manufacturers to understand their needs and sell our products.
  5. You will be reporting to the company’s Sub-Saharan Africa sales director.

Job Responsibilities
You will carry out the following tasks:

  1. Development and implementation of the commercial strategy
  2. Carrying out technical and commercial offers
  3. Conducting commercial and financial negotiations until the order is placed
  4. Management of customer accounts and/or associated partners
  5. Support the development of a local distribution network
  6. Account management with our main key customers and installers in the country.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Renewable Energies with at least 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience in solar, preferably in hybrid projects
  • Previous experience in sales

Language:

  • English (mandatory), French (highly appreciated), Yoruba (appreciated).
