Job Description 

  • We are recruiting for a leading technology-led service and multinational company in the automotive industry with a successful track record of saving cost and optimizing fuel usage for fleet owners.
  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales by building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients, driving new business growth within assigned accounts, and managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving sales targets.
  • He/ She will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  2. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure success.
  3. Identify and develop new business opportunities, establish, and maintain relationships with key clients, and expand the company’s customer base.
  4. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  5. Build and maintain strong positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
  6. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create effective sales campaigns, promotions, and product enhancements.
  7. Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  9. Performing cost-¬benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  10. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the management team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7 years of experience preferably in the information technology & services, automotive or logistics industry.
  • B2B experience is a MUST.
  • Proven track record of successful sales management experience, preferably in the technology, automotive or logistics industry
  • Product knowledge: deep understanding of the company’s products and services, as well as industry trends and competitors.
  • Analytical skills: ability to analyse sales data and prepare reports and presentations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N600,000 net per month.
