Job Position: Sales Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales engineers in setting and drafting the proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with tier 1 industrial clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and
- threats.
- Strategize according to the ‘Company Sales Targets’ according to the below-mentioned KPIs.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment with sales strategies.
- Set high targets towards ‘lead generation’, and strategies to close big sales.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Provide training and technical support to any member in the sales team, helping them improve their performance and skills
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the power and energy sector and business
- Must technically fit in power generators and industrial cables.
- Proven experience as a sales Manager or in a senior sales leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the power solutions industry, market trends, and competition in Nigeria.
- Has experience in selling turnkey engineering projects, selling of equipment and solutions, selling of products
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to analyze sales data and trends.
- Ability to develop and grow a sales team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Result-oriented with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Adaptability to changing market dynamics.
